We understand Bath…

We live and work here and have created our garden centre with the needs of local people, and the community, in mind.

We specialise in stylish plants and garden products for all types of urban spaces.

Whether you have an outdoor garden, a terrace, or just room for a couple of houseplants, we have the plants for you.

Please note: We have disable access

We have worked with a local designer to create a range of co-ordinated planting schemes for your borders, containers and window boxes for you to use at home.

We are part of Grow Yourself, an established Community Interest Company (CIC), which for the past 5 years, has been helping young people get back into work.

Our profits fund a programme of horticultural therapy and training behind the scenes; improving the mental health and wellbeing of adults of all ages.

We believe in the gentle spread of nature through gardening. We only buy natural and sustainable products, we don’t sell peat-based compost, and we minimise the plastic leaving our Garden Centre.

The Urban Garden is managed and run by Grow Yourself, an established Community Interest Company (CIC). We are based at the lower end of the B&NES council nursery site and have a collaborative partnership with the council, who supply some of our plants. We also work in collaboration with Bath based charity, Grow for Life, who deliver our City & Guilds course in practical horticulture. All profits from the Urban Garden are reinvested back into the training, helping to improve the mental health and wellbeing of local adults

Whether you want a low-maintenance garden, something architectural and stylish, or simply year-round colour, we can help. We source our plants from the B&NES Council nursery team, who grow many of them on site, so they have only travelled a few metres to get here.

Our selection includes some unusual annuals, striking perennials, edibles and herbs. We also specialise in container grown plants for window boxes and small courtyard gardens.
