Small, Independent and Traditional Garden Nursery

Ashdale Cottage Garden Plants is a small, independent, established working nursery, which specialises in hardy & unusual perennials.

We (a small team of 4) enjoy propagating traditional varieties of plants & experimenting in growing new, exciting varieties where possible. We offer small quantities of each variety of perennial, hoping this makes a visit to the nursery as interesting as possible.

 We embrace the seasons and do our best to offer seasonal vegetable & bedding plants, unusual & reliable shrubs, trees, ornamental grasses, alpines, climbers & herbs, alongside our herbaceous perennials.

 Our aim is to offer hardy & extremely weather exposed perennials that will adapt to garden spaces of all descriptions. We are passionate & love what we do. All of our plants are allowed to grow and are nurtured on site.

 We trust that we offer a significant and expansive range of perennial plants to excite even the most professional of gardeners. We also have the most beautiful flowering exhibits to encourage newcomers to gardening. Our self-taught knowledge will be the best guidance we can offer.
