Blackmoor Nurseries is part of Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire which has been run by the Selborne family for several generations.

At Blackmoor we are very proud about our heritage and history, and we’re absolutely passionate about our fruit plants.  We have been growing them at our Hampshire based estate for over 85 years.

All of our staff have been trained to the highest level in both the growing and packing of our plants and we all strive to produce top quality fruit trees and soft fruit plants.  All orders are subject to rigorous quality tests at every stage of growth, and throughout the processes of lifting to packing.  Roots are soaked and covered before shipping which means that each plant reaches the customer in prime condition.

Our customer service team are all Blackmoor Nursery people and are happy to provide expert advice either by phone or email.  They are industry experts and are always happy to share their knowledge and tips about how to get the very best from growing fruit.

A great deal of time has been put into the design of our website to provide all the relevant product information and ease of ordering. Our system keeps our customers informed of their individual order progress right up to the day of the delivery.  And, our ‘How to Video’ section on the site has been a huge success in helping our customers to get the very best from their fruit plants.  We are planning to add to these educational clips in the near future.

Finally, we source the best courier service, ensuring our orders are delivered on time and in the excellent condition that the package has left the nursery in.

Blackmoor Orchards still grows apples, pears, plums and cherries for many of the high street multiple retail outlets on 250 acres of orchards.

With its range of fruit enterprises, from fruit tree production, to orchards, storage and grading, and to fruit sales at farmers markets, Blackmoor is involved in every link of the production chain.

Blackmoors Annual Open Day attracts thousands of visitors who come to see for themselves how this specialist business has remained in the forefront of fruit production for over ninety years.

At Blackmoor Nursery we support the charity TREE AID to help villagers living in the drylands of Africa unlock the potential of trees to reduce poverty and protect their environment. If you choose to make a donation at the checkout you will be supporting TREE AID’s vision to replace poverty with thriving self-reliant communities
