The Garden Centre was built on land that belonged to Melford Hall ( Sir Richard Hyde-Parker) in 1983 and traded successfully until joining the Cherry Lane family in January 2002. The store has gone from strength to strength under the Cherry Lane brand, a coffee shop (Bizzibeans) was added in 2008 enhancing the whole experience at Long Melford Cherry Lane.
