Nip from the Hip Ltd is a family run business based in Maidstone, Kent producing mouth-watering fruity spirit drinks. 

Our award winning fruit liqueurs are made from locally sourced fruit and varying spirit bases such as vodka, gin, rum and brandy.  

How We Got Started

The inspiration behind the name and the branding of the company originates from time spent at co- owner’s, Alison and Paul’s wedding in February 2011, located in one of London’s top hotels. 

A select number of guests were given hip flasks as a gift, filled with delightful Gin and Vodka based liqueurs made by Alison’s mother Joy.

With varying degrees of nerves from members of the wedding party, having a “nip from the hip” became common place throughout the day’s proceedings!  

The range of liqueurs are beautifully presented in elegant glass bottles in varying sizes and gift packs. 

Enjoy these deliciously fruity liqueurs in times of stress and celebration, on a cold winter’s day, or a warm summer’s evening; basically whenever the need or desire arises.
