Good Morning, from the Walled Nursery here in Hawkhurst, Kent. Our names are Nick and Ian and we are the new custodians of this special corner of what was once known as the Tongswood Estate. We would love you to come along on our journey as we begin to take the Walled Garden back to its original purpose of growing fruit, vegetables and flowers. It’s our intention to offer what we harvest in an onsite cafe and shop, that we hope to open in the coming months. We will also continue the legacy of the former owners (Emma and Monty) and sell a selection of your favourite nursery plants. We have all sorts of plans for the short and long term future of this beautiful place and we’ll share these here and hope you’ll contribute along the way. We look forward to welcoming you later in the Spring here at The Walled Nursery. |
