Welcome to Carnivorous Plants

We have been growing insect eating plants for 26 years now, and have found how popular they have become.

We are now also open to the public 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm.

If you need information do not hesitate to email us at pj_gardner@btopenworld.com or phone us on 01981 251659.

Our National Collection of Sarracenia and sales area are really looking good this year – please come over and view it (photogoraphers are welcome).
This will boost your enthusiasum to plant up many varieties and species outdoors in a bog garden, pond margin, or sink garden. Alternitivly in a greenhouse or windowsil is very practical and rewarding.

Over the years our 2 Open Weekends have been very successful, just call in…
Saturday 31 May & Sunday 1 June 10am-4pm
Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 August 10am – 4pm
We have special offers and discounts available plus refreshments all day.

We grow all our plants the traditional way and follow similar lines from Adrian Slacks methods. This gives our stock natural hardiness so it makes it easier for the customer to grow on.

Mail order is a great way to buy mature plants – we send out to all the UK & EU countries from March to October, accepting cheque, credit card or PayPal.
A plant catalogue is available on request or click onto plant sales on this page.
We offer our Growers Guide which gives good practical advise on the A-Z of Carnivorous Plants from our own experiences.
All our Sarracenia are grown on site here in Hereford, and all hybrids, ‘Slack’ cultivars, and ‘named location’ plants are all vegetively propagated, we never wild collect any plants what-so-ever. All ‘named location’ plants are from seed collection only.

Kindest Regards. Paul & Jackie Gardner.
