The hidden hedged gardens of Warwick

Rare survivals of Victorian gardens once used by townsfolk living above their business to escape from the crowded town, now lovingly restored and nationally recognised. Watch our short film to discover how owners came here after work or on Sundays to tend their plots or to relax…

Plant Sales

The majority of the plants sold are propagated from our Gardens, and

many are rare or heritage varieties not usually found in garden centres.

In some cases only a small number of plants have been grown so

please phone to check availability before making a special visit. The

number of varieties grown is constantly increasing, hence not all plants

are in the catalogue.

Our specialities include collections of snowdrops and Michaelmas

daisies (novi-belgii, novae-angliae and amellus).

Our hardy border Chrysanthemums form part of the dispersed National

Collection. Click here for our fully illustrated catalogue.

A limited number of vegetable plants are available during spring. Small

amounts of produce from the gardens are sold in the nursery including

soft fruit, apples, pears and vegetables.

The plant nursery is open weekdays throughout the year and when the

Gardens are open at weekends from April to October.

Please note: Admission to the plant nursery is free for customers not

wanting to visit the gardens.
